Alex and Courtney got married this Fall and it was so much fun to photograph their wild and colorful day.  We started out at Hotel Allegro where Courtney and the bridesmaids were mixing mimosas and getting done up.  I jogged down the hall where the dudes were having a TV party and priming up for the big day that was ahead.  Our lovely couple caught their first glimpses of each other outside of the hotel and in front of the Cadillac Theater and then we jumped on a trolly and headed to the lakefront to catch a breeze and an eyeful of that endless Chicago Skyline.  Away we went to Carvivale, where the ceremony and the rest of  the evening’s festivities were about to begin.  After smiles, tears, cheers and a surprise Hall and Oates sing-a-long, the marriage was official.  Now it was time for everybody to wine, dine and dance.  Ruby, from Toast and Jam, provided the soundtrack to a nonstop dance party that worked the crowd in to a wilder and wilder frenzy as the night moved on.  I barely made it out in one piece!  Alex and Courtney’s wedding ruled!  I’m so glad to have been a part of it.
